 +Serves 4 as side serving

 +Ingredients   
 +  * 4 cups broccoli florets and peeled stem slices
 +  * 3 garlic cloves, minced
 +  * 2 tablespoons sesame oil
 +  * 2 tablespoons soy sauce
 +  * 1/2 cup vegetable or chicken broth
 +  * 1 tablespoon cornstarch
 +  * red pepper flakes to taste
 +  * (1 can straw mushrooms or bamboo shoots or water chestnuts)

 +Directions:
 +  - In a bowl, whisk the garlic, soy sauce, broth, (red pepper flakes) and cornstarch.
 +  - In a large skillet over medium high heat, add sesame oil and then broccoli. Cook for about 4 minutes,stirring often to prevent burning.
 +  - Reduce heat to medium low, add can of vegetable and then add garlic sauce. Stir well to coat.
 +  - Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring. Sauce will thicken and coat the vegetables.
