Katherine Hepburn's Brownies

Temp:325 degrees

Ingredients:
  * 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  * 1/4 pound butter
  * 1 cup granulated sugar
  * 2 eggs
  * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  * 1/4 cup flour
  * 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  * 1/4 teaspoon

Directions:

  * Melt chocolate with butter in heavy saucepan over very low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
  * Beat in eggs and vanilla. Quickly stir in flour, walnuts and salt.
  * Spread batter in a well-greased 8x8 inch baking pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
  * Remove immediately to a rack to cool. Cut into 12 squares.
