Flan Oven 350 degrees * 6 eggs * 2 cups milk * 1 teaspoon vanilla extract * 1.5 cups sugar - Caramelize half cup sugar in nonstick skillet, stirring constantly. When melted, pour into the bottom of a Pyrex dish. - Beat 6 eggs, or mix in blender. Add milk, vanilla and 1 cup sugar. Beat thoroughly; pour into dish on top of caramelized sugar. - Place Pyrex dish in a larger dish. Add water to the larger dish to half cover the contents of the Pyrex dish. ("Bano Maria") - Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour, until flan is set, light brown and firm. Refrigerate.
